Help & FAQs

Industrial labels & tags

How do I order custom industrial labels?

Use our online label tool to design and price your order in real time. Pick your size, color, mounting style (holes, adhesive backing, or square / rounded corners), and the number of lines of text — pricing updates as you go, with no hidden fees. When you're ready, check out directly with the labels in your cart. Need many different labels in a single order? Download our Excel order form, fill it in, and upload it back to the tool for an instant quote on the whole batch.

What sizes, materials, and options are available?

Square and rectangular labels from 0.5" to 12" on either side, and round labels from 0.5" to 12" diameter. Engraved in Arial Narrow on 1/16" two-ply engraving plastic in a range of color combinations. Optional mounting holes (ends, corners, or top), square or rounded corners, and 3M adhesive backing — all selectable in the label tool. Built for control panels, electrical enclosures, equipment ID, NEC arc-flash notices, and asset tags.

Can I price a large batch of different labels at once?

Yes. Download our Excel order form from the label product page, fill in your dimensions, quantities, colors, and text, then upload it back to the tool — you'll get an instant quote on the entire batch, with the same self-serve checkout. For 100+ different labels or recurring orders, contact us for a standing-quote arrangement.

Tumblers & drinkware

What does engraving on a powder-coated tumbler look like?

The laser removes the powder coating to reveal the stainless steel underneath, producing a permanent, high-contrast mark that won't peel, fade, or wash off. The result has a clean, built-in look — not a sticker or print on top. The exact appearance depends on the tumbler's coating color; we proof every design before production so you can confirm the look.

Can I send in my own tumblers for engraving?

Yes. If you've purchased drinkware in volume — corporate gifts, event swag, team merchandise — send them to us and we'll engrave your design. We test on a single piece first to confirm the result before running the full batch. Pricing is per piece based on quantity and design complexity. Email info@engravingaz.com with the tumbler details and your logo for a quote.

What artwork works best for engraving?

Best: vector files — AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF saved with vector content. Single-color (black) artwork engraves cleanest.

Also fine: high-resolution PNG or JPG. If you only have a sketch or low-resolution image, send it anyway — we can usually clean it up or recreate it (a small design fee may apply). You must own the rights to any logo or artwork submitted.

Contract marking & bulk orders

What is contract marking?

Contract marking is engraving on parts and products you supply — serial numbers, asset IDs, logos, compliance marks, data plates, and branded drinkware. We work with fab shops, OEMs, and businesses branding purchased items. Drop off in Tempe, ship parts to our shop, or have your supplier deliver directly. See our full page on contract marking for the complete process and quote workflow.

Are there order minimums or bulk discounts?

No minimums on items we provide — order one or order a thousand. Industrial labels carry a $35 minimum cart total. For contract marking on customer-supplied items, we quote per lot based on quantity, complexity, and material; larger orders unlock better per-piece pricing.

Can you handle ongoing or recurring orders?

Yes. Once your item is approved and the spec is locked, repeat orders skip the testing step and run on a standing quote — just send in the next batch when you're ready. Let us know your expected cadence when you reach out so we can plan production around it.

Timing, shipping & confidentiality

How fast is turnaround and shipping?

Industrial labels: ship within about a week. Engraved drinkware: 2–4 business days on stocked items once your proof is approved. Contract marking on supplied parts: typically 1–2 weeks from test approval. Rush service is available on most orders — call ahead with your deadline. We ship within the United States via standard ground; most orders arrive 2–5 business days after shipping.

Do you keep our designs confidential, and can you provide traceability documentation?

Yes. Drawings, logos, part lists, and customer files stay private — we're happy to sign an NDA if your procurement process requires one. For regulated industries, OEM data plates, or government contractors, we can also provide batch certs, photos of marked output, and traceable serial-number ranges. Mention this with your initial inquiry so we set up the workflow on day one.
